CONCORD’s Briefing Papers on the Joint Parliamentary Assembly cover several issues such as the 11th EDF, the Agenda for Change, Migration, Energy and EPAs.

Twice a year, parliamentarians from both the EU and the ACP countries gather in ‘Joint Parliamentarian Assemblies’ (JPA). During this event, EU and ACP representatives adopt measures concerning the improvement of their relations and implementation of the Cotonou agreement. Civil society from both regions has a say on the topics discussed.
EU civil society actively engages in this dialogue and participates in diverse activities in the framework of JPAs. Furthermore, civil society prepares updated briefings on the main issues that concerns civil society from EU and ACP countries.
The papers below were published in June 2013 at the JPA held in Brussels.
