More than 70 participants took part in the Civil Society Alliance launch event.
The Civil Society Alliance aims to bring together a broad range of organisations from right across Europe to do joint activities during the official European Year for development.
The launch of the Civil Society Alliance for #EYD2015 in Brussels on 15 January was a great success! The first meeting, held in the CONCORD office, hosted a wide range of organisations from different sectors, such as environmental and youth organisations, women’s rights and health campaigns and more.

Today was also the Launch of Action/2015 campaign calling on local and world leaders to take urgent action to fight, with concrete measures, for a just and sustainable world. The European Group of Action/2015 participated in the EYD2015 Alliance launch too and with CONCORD organized a photo op in front of the European Parliament.
