Filip Waszczuk

Policy & Advocacy Assistant

Filip joined CONCORD Europe in September 2017 as Policy and Advocacy Assistant. Filip has been working on a range of issues related to Human Rights, both professionally and academically. After graduating from the University of Warsaw in 2015, he started working as a Project Coordinator in Sikana, a French NGO promoting digital education based in Paris. He then went to Kenya to advocate against the Female Genital Mutilation, just before starting his Master’s degree in Human Rights at Sciences Po Paris. Since then, he has been involved in a variety of additional initiatives, such as a research project on the privatization of education, gender issues on a conference at Harvard University or girl’s rights as a part of the Plan International Youth Advisory Board.
Filip strives for a better specialization in advocacy strategies, especially in his field of interest – children’s rights and gender equality. In his free time, he enjoys jogging, working out, cycling, reading books, travelling and practicing Spanish and Russian.
