Daniel studied international public law with focus on human rights at the University of Vienna, and law at the University of Comenius in Bratislava. In the past 12 years he has been active in development cooperation and humanitarian aid. Formerly he worked as a project manager, trainer, director of ADRA Slovakia. He has experience with implementing projects in Kenya, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Lebanon among others. He sat on the board of the national platform – Ambrela for 2 terms. Currently he also represents the national platform in the government committee on ODA and co-represent civil society in the Government council on the CSOs.

Since 2019 he works as an executive secretary for Ambrela Platform for Development Organizations. His main focus is policy & advocacy, partnerships, leadership and strategies. In his free time he contributes to various think tanks and academic publications.

Daniel was elected CONCORD’s Board member in June 2024.
