Inese Vaivare has over 25 years of experience in strategic governance, civil society resilience, and global partnerships. She currently serves as director of Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation, contributing to collective action on sustainable development, social resilience and international cooperation.

At the national level she is member of the Advisory Board for the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Her impactful work has been recognized with the Order of the Three Stars (IV) from the President of Latvia and the European Citizens’ Prize. She also works as a lecturer in several universities.

Inese holds a Master of Political Science from Latvijas Universitāte, with a research focus on civil participation and public administration.
