Marta was elected to the Board in November 2020 and is a graduate in Journalism and Expert in International Information and Southern Countries from the Madrid Complutense University. She is an Associate Professor of International Aid and Development Cooperation and Security, Peace, and Conflict Resolutions at the Carlos III University of Madrid since 2017. She is also the Head of the International Action Department of the Spanish NGO –Movement for Peace –MPDL– since 2012. Currently she is member of the Board of Trustees of the Spanish Coordinadora of Development NGOs, where she is in charge of Advocacy. She is also a member of the Spanish Council of Development Cooperation and the Spanish Council of Sustainable Development.
