Ruth Faber is CEO of the EU-CORD network, a faith-based alliance of 26 European relief and development organisations working in more than 80 countries. Based in Brussels, she leads the network’s strategy, governance, and communications, and represents members in dialogue with EU institutions and civil society partners.

With over 25 years in humanitarian and development work, Ruth has lived and worked across the Caucasus, Central Asia, Asia, and Africa. She has been engaged with CONCORD for many years through its working groups and shared advocacy spaces, and believes that now more than ever, the sector needs a confederation like CONCORD to foster collaboration and solidarity.

Of British–Ghanaian heritage and originally from Scotland, Ruth holds a degree in English and Social Research from the University of Aberdeen.
