Putting your money where your mouth is: consistent action and funding for sustainable development

April 16 @ 11:00 am CEST

Webinar: Engaging with EU Delegations for CSO funding

The EU pitches itself as a key values-based partner for countries all around the world and makes its international cooperation, in particular its funding partnerships, very visible. But in addition, the EU shapes the context for partner countries’ fiscal, regulatory and economic space through, among others, its legislation, dominant global market position and trade policies.

To what extent does the EU give and take in its relationships with partner countries? How do its actions contribute (or not) to sustainable development and inequality reduction?

Join our online debate to learn more about this topic from our speakers from the European Parliament and civil society organisations.

Speakers:

  • Mónica Silvana González, Member of the European Parliament (S&D);
  • Erik Marquardt, Member of the European Parliament (Greens/EFA);
