Shaping the world we want, starting from the EU
2024 was a year marked by a challenging geopolitical landscape, global crises and shrinking civic space. In this context CONCORD and its member worked to strengthened advocacy for EU commitments to democracy, human rights, and sustainable development.
In the past year, we empowered our confederation with tailored tools for the European elections, launched a new platform to boost African civil society collaboration under the AU–EU Partnership, and released impactful publications analysing how the EU’s Global Gateway programmes addressing inequalities and setting out principles for an intersectional feminist EU foreign policy approach.
