Do we care enough about citizen engagement?: CONCORD newsletter December 2024

CONCORD published a paper entitled, ‘Do we care enough about citizen engagement? A qualitative look at Global Citizenship Education funding in Europe.’ The paper analyses the accessibility and sustainability of GCE funding in Europe, the role of global crises, and the evolving role of EU programmes like DEAR. It also puts forward a set of recommendations and acts as a call to action for policy-makers for a more impactful and equitable approach to GCE funding.

We have also continued to highlight our AidWatch report on social media and through our advocacy work, and held a webinar to further our work on Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development.
