Valeria joined CONCORD in September 2024 to work as a Policy and Advocacy Assistant in the Financing and Funding for Sustainable Development Workstream, supporting in the Global Gateway, Multiannual Financial Framework and AidWatch Report portfolios, among others.

Prior to CONCORD, Valeria gained experience in international organizations as she completed traineeships at the Trade and Economics Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Peru and at the Office for Organizational Development and Management for Results in the Organization of American States. She has also worked in academia as a research assistant in gender and economics, and in consultancy, as a research analyst specializing in monitoring and evaluation. She is an economist by trade and holds a master’s degree in Globalisation and Development from the University of Antwerp. She speaks Spanish, English and French.
