Our 15th General Assembly gathered our members in Brussels in June 2018, marking several important milestones for our Confederation: new statutes, renewal of half the board and new financial guidelines. Our collective discussions on the 2019 EU elections and the future EU budget were intense, but rewarded by a festive celebrations at the end of the first day.
At the end of April, CONCORD was invited to discuss the recently highlighted issue of sexual misconduct in humanitarian work in the course of a joint workshop with the European Parliament’s DEVE committee. CONCORD Europe organised its General Assembly on 13 and 14 June 2016 in Brussels. The main topic of the whole event was “CONCORD facing shrinking civic space in a Europe in crisis”. Learning and exchange was at the heart of the agenda and members have addressed key questions which Civil Society is facing today: gender, paradigm shift, civic space, inclusiveness… Members took also the time to reflect on the new strategy endorsed one year ago.
