CONCORD Director was asked by the CONCORD member working on improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, CBM International, for his reflections on the upcoming European Consensus on Development and its impact on people with disabilities.

In June this year, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini will review the “EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy” to guide the European Union’s global actions in the future. CONCORD asks the drafting team to adopt a long-term vision rooted in human rights and the promotion of sustainable development within and outside of the EU.
